🎉 Welcome to the Sacred Celebration
Insha Allah, the 725th Kanthoori will be celebrated with the highest devotion and the ancestral religious harmony this soil is known for. We warmly invite devotees, families and well-wishers to join for the festival days and receive Andakai's Nalthuva Barakkath (Divine Blessings).
📋 Calendar of Events 2026
The sacred flag procession begins from the Dargha, moves through Muthupet Main Road (old bus-stand and new bus-stand) and returns to the Dargha entrance, followed by the mounting of the Holy Flag.
The Holy Sandal (Santhanam) is ceremonially applied at the Mazar of Hakkeemul Hukama Hazrath Shaik Dawood Kamil Valiyullah at Muthupet Dargha Shariff.
After Moulud recitation and Dua, and completion (Tamam) of the Holy Quran, the Holy Flag will be de-hoisted. Annadhanam (Tabrook) will then be distributed to all pilgrims (Yatris) and devotees.
🕌 Uroos Mubarak Tradition
Each Hijri year, Muthupet Dargha observes the Kanthoori Festival from Jamathul Avval crescent 1 to crescent 14. Devotees are welcome to visit throughout this period for prayers and remembrance, with the three sacred milestones above marking the heart of the 725th year's celebration.
